Day 19 - Tues 27th Sept - Blowing Rock to Waynesboro
Blue Ridge Parkway
After leaving Blowing Rock we re-join the Blue Ridge Parkway and head towards Virginia. It’s all about easy riding, taking in the views, taking our photos when we feel like it and just taking in everything about the Appalachian Mountains. There will be a break in Roanoke as I don’t have a t-shirt for Roanoke HD, if there is any room left in my bag

BRP Done
By the close of the day we will have completed the whole of the Blue Ridge Parkway. That is 470 miles from the South Entrance to Waynesboro, I wonder how many curves we would have ridden? Just been reading the advice about bears on the BRPAttacks on humans are rare. If you are physically attacked by a black bear, fight back aggressively with any available object--the bear may consider you as prey! Do not "play dead." Help protect others by reporting all bear incidents to a park ranger immediately. Keep your distance from bears.Me I’m beating Usain Bolt over 100m!!
