Leaving Silverton we head south along the Million Dollar Highway. The highway delivers jaw-dropping vista after vista. It was cut from the side of the mountain and became know as the "Million Dollar Highway". It's one of the most scenic drives in the USA.

Road To Taos
After the scenic overload from yesterday and the ride to Durango adding to the breath taking beauty the rest of the day is a ‘take it easy’ day. I know we got some retail therapy at Durango Harley, but 9 days in and there maybe the need for general shopping needed too. So a good break at Walmart in Pagosa Springs to wonder around and top up on anything we need. After a break in Chama it is through the Carson National Forest and into Taos for some pool time I think.
